Hi guys
I'm new to the forum , I'm a South African living in uk , been kiting for just over a year , I was a surfer back in SA so kitesurfing is the closest I can get over here .
Been riding a Tt until I stumbled across the shinn speedball and then the carving craving set in. I'm landing back rolls and pretty competant with kite skills for my limited time in this sport.

Last weekend I rode my fish surboard and was hooked so I bought a slingshot celeritas 5'6 and I'm loving it .

Strapless is the way forward .

I used to suck at skateboarding , so I'm worried about my ollie tecnique is going to hold me back .

I know this question has been asked many times , so , how's some flatwater ollie help pleeeease.

I currently own a quiver of 2015 rpm's and they rock

Many thanks guys and gals

Hi guys

Okay do I've been trying and trying ollies , I think I've made a small breakthrough.
Am I correct in thinking that it is the wind speed / forward momentum is what gets the board out the water and going upwards ? So by flying the kite to its sweet spot and initiating a jump with enough speed or wind the board will continue to rise up in the same amount as your body ?
I've found having a wide stance is crucial

Cheers guys

Cheers mate , was beginning to think I was alone here lol

Spent the afternoon fully powered on my 8m just practicing ollies , I can just get the fins out the water , so I guess I'm making progress.
I'm gonna keep at it , bearing in mind I've only ridden my directional about 6 times I think I'm doing pretty well

Cheers for the link
