Sweet shots. Looks like a lot of fun out there. I know when I was in Margarita it was cranking, and nice chop to launch off of. Thanks for sharing those.

nice shots dready...

dude...I landed a bunch of big spins last night... without the handle pass... going from heelside, 360 flip, landing toeside..
actually not super hard, just more timing... and feels real good when you hit it off a little wave and land back on it with some tranny..!

I don't get how you are spinning?? Are you spinning with the board vertical under the kite? With or without a grab? Foreward or back? Without a pass, so is the bar above your head? Me no understand??

Cynbad...

basically I'm going on my left-foot forward tack.... putting the kite high, then spinning board upwind a full 360' rotation...while board is spinning, rotate your body from heelside to toeside...landing toeside. it actually happens really fast and is fairly easy to do.. and lots of fun, after landing, you are set up to transition back the other direction..

let us know how it goes!

I hope to have some pics frrom this last weekend..
once again, my kitecam failed! I was 3 ft out of the frame on my exotic ride to the flatwater!

You should get the GoPro wide. Absolutely impossible not to be in frame with the 170 degrees angle lens

Going to try the big spin transition next session. I dial the 180 version of it so another 180 shouldn't be that hard.

Btw, I had a run on my LF wakeskate (Varial 42) yesterday after work. I was really lit on my 12m and 20-24 knots wind but it was still really hard to go upwind on the damn thing. Can't really recommend that board to anyone. Maybe it's better upwind in butterflat so I'll have to try at another spot. I think that a skim/wakeskate/twintip hybrid would be better. The outline of a small twintip, the rocker of a skim and the elevated tail and nose of the LF Varial wakeskate. Maybe a new carve project for Tungsten? :D Some extra weight is good for dealing with the wind.
