There was no wind so I went back to bed. So then on Thurs, we had a forecast for 20+. I went early before work again, but some storm screwed up the wind and I waited 30 minutes and then got to ride in about 10-14 mph, not exactly sk8 wind. I had a good skim sess though for an hour or so. Saturday I drove 4.5 hours each way to go to a comp and we got skunked again!! Yesterday I got on the sk8 for 30 minutes. It was gusty wind like 6-20. It was pretty hard to ride in that crap, but this has pretty much been the theme of our season in Miami this year. I rode skim as well. After a couple hours, I packed it up and then it started firing - like 9m or 7m weather.
The Tona is the new scoop sk8 (called the Driftwood), but I have a prototype. I don't think graphics are final, so I'll wait until I see the final version and then post some pictures.
