Help with skims

Postby hicks » Thu Aug 01, 2013 4:14 pm

Hi, I'm trying to decide on the best skimboard to begin with, I live in the UK and we get some chop, but nice waves on light wind days, and that's when I'm thinking about using a skim, anyone got any ideas for a 69kg beginner?
I looked at those Nobile wood skim cross, but I fancy a pure skim type board?

Is it better to learn with a larger skimboard?
And is it better to have a larger skimboard in light winds?

So I'm thinking the bigger the better right? .......Some one correct me if I'm on the wrong path here.

Ahh yeah cheers, this is exactly what I was looking for. :D
I did have a look round the site to see if you had an FAQ section, but I couldn't find it, don't want you to think I was being site lazy or anything. :)
