Circle One Skimboards

Postby jimmy » Sat Jan 31, 2009 6:55 am

I've been watching this forum for ages and meaning to post. I've been really getting into my strapless this year and have been riding a cyclone wave skim and north freestyle fish. I love my fish but i wanna go purer in the skim. In the UK we have a brand called circle one who look like they make some pretty cool skims that i can get pretty cheap. Its a pintail 50", just wandering if anyone has any feedback, i weigh about 65-70kg.

Hey Jimmy,

Welcome to LTS! Thanks for joining. Unfortunately, I have never ridden nor seen a Circle One skim board. I can't give you much feedback other than you weigh a bit less than me (72 kg) and therefore somewhere around a 50 - 54" in length and 19.5 - 20.5" width should be a good starting point. I know these sizes work well, but that is just the start. The boards look decent in the link and the price is definitely right :!:  So go for it. Also, you might want to read up on these posts for more ideas:

When you do get one please post your review here so we can all learn about your board:

Let me know if there is anything else I might be able to help you with. Otherwise get skimming! :D

I've been doing a bit of searching around and i have found a Victoria Ultra Vac skim small (50" i think) for £30 more. Is it worthwhile me going for this over the circle one board, the RRP is definately more.
