Wholly shit. That is freaking horrible. He is a rider in Ft. Lauderdale and I did not know him. Fay has been pretty mild as far as storms go, but honestly I rarely ride in TS or pre-hurricane because of the erratic wind that accompanies the storms. It really does not make for fun kiting, but more like thrill seeking. A couple of friends called me today to ride and I look out and see that radar and I have NO interest in riding in crap like that. I have been kiting for too long and I have seen a lot of people get really screwed up. Additionally, you have to consider the effect it will have not only on the rider, but the rest of the kiting community, and how we are viewed by the people that control our access points.
