Alright so i've compiled all the production line boards that are killer for a strapless surfing. Most of these boards are really good in light wind too!
Anybody have any others they would like to put in?

Yea its not a bad shape, kinda heavy for my taste.
Its fins are also kinda a issue.

Looks pretty narrow and pulled in throughout - does it need a lot of juice to really get fun??

Which board are you referring to?
Pretty much all the boards above ride in fairly light wind. The surfskate probably will ride in the lightest wind of the batch. Its flat rocker, wide tail and beefy volume pretty much make it ideal.

Sorry - was referring to the North Rocketfish - the pic isn't on here but was looking at it online. Just looked like it wasn't for the mush.

Nice site...been kiting strapless for about 4 years. Haven't even rode straps in 2 years.

I got a Timpone 5'4" and only 18" wide - made for a little kid. It's a fricken slasher

Ordered a Placebo Surfskate 4 10 last week, should have it very soon. God Bless America for the stimulus because the Placebo ain't cheap!

Will post some footy soon.

Hey Motz,

Welcome to Lose the Straps! Thanks for the feedback. We are working everyday to make the site better and more informative.

Good use of your stimulus money. I have to get a Placebo for the fall season. I love the way that board rides even in flat water. Although, I need to do my taxes so I can get my stimulus dinero

I look forward to seeing your posts. BTW, how did you find us?

I just bought a 6-0 Surftech Zanadu "Rocky" - haven't had a chance to use it yet but heard great things about it. I'll be sure to let you all know how it rides. I was thinking about the placebo surfskate but wanted to go with something more surf specific.
