front traction pad

front traction pad

what are you guys using for a front traction pad for a surf skate. I noticed in some pictures of jon it looks like hes using the front part of the dakine longboard pad but i not sure. help please???

I use the smaller front piece for the front.

i already have a tail pad i was thinking using this maby just the front piece but i dont surf to much on this board so i could maby cut the back piece to work too. watcha think? http://www.surfboardsetc.com/moredetail ... erm=217355

Yea! that will work fine. Also, consider slitting that top piece into two smaller sections. Sometimes the transition from board to pad is the most grippy part, so adding more just helps! And looks cool too!!!
