I'll probably never be able to see or test ride an Arcane...but...
My Placebo 4'10" sk8 is cracked & I'm trying to find a back-up, juss in case she goes for broke....
I'd like to find something around the same size, with good float, can handle waves & lots of wind, but most of all - be able to hold up to kiting!
Maybe something for another thread, but I'm start'n to wonder bout these high-volume skim/surf/wake-surf-hybrid boards:
SS Arcane - Quad - round rails, boxy at tail (from the looks..)
Roush Mega Loafs - Quad - round rails, no idea on rail shape at tail, but prob boxy.
Victoria Wombat - Single fin - rails look round from tip to tip..
Wonder which would fit best for waves'n lots of wind..?
Mega Loaf?
Shame the graphics look like vintage Hawaiian motel curtains...
Anyone seen, maybe even ridden the Wombat or Roush Mega Loaf w/fins in waves?
