Was talking to a buddy of mine today who has a place in Fiji. He was saying that the surfing restrictions on Cloudbreak, Restaurants and Namotu right and lefts have been lifted so anyone can surf there without permission. I know a few guys have tried to kite there in the past and been told to leave, so if you ever get the chance to get to Fiji with a kite now you can just take a boat out from the mainland. Never kited it myself but went to have a look once. When its on its only for the experienced but there are some less intimidating breaks there also.
So there...the word is out...

i am going to Fiji from June 28 - July 24, staying in Nadi and hiring boat charters to hit the outer reefs of Namotu and Tavarua. Surfboards only, no twin tips allowed. anyone have any info or keen to join?
