New woodie

Thinking about tinkering around with building a new strapless toy? Have some feedback about construction, materials, rocker line? Post it here.

New woodie

Here is my latest creation. I used thinner wood than my first home made board and it made a world of difference. The board is lighter, has more flex, and holds an edge better. I also used a different shape, more rounded for ripping up small waves. I let one of the other local riders take it out for a spin and he placed an order immediately. I guess I am now in the business of making skim boards :D My next project is going to be a copy of the new Shinn skim board/wake skate looking thing without the bird.
