Gauging Interest on Trak Pads (Pics)

Thinking about tinkering around with building a new strapless toy? Have some feedback about construction, materials, rocker line? Post it here.

Gauging Interest on Trak Pads (Pics)

I might be able to get a deal on some of these pads. Looking to see what kind of interest there would be in them. They are 17" x 34" and made by hydroturf. Thees are super grippy even when wet tested this out myself. Not sure of the colors but should be able to get the ones in the picture plus red and dark blue. Price is not set yet but how much would you reasonably pay for one of these. They also have 3m backing tape so its clean, peel, stick, RIP!!!!! Ill post some pictures of my surfboard(when its done) but it will be perfect in combination with a traction kick pad. Cut out whatever design you want and space it out a bit and it creates 3 levels of grip for those strapless (look mom no grab) airs!

Shoot me an email with how many a what colors you'd want and you'll be at the top of the list when these start shipping out.

Hi hunter, great to hear there's some budget pads coming along. From what I know EVA production costs, I would suggest 10$ per square meter would be an acceptable end user price. So 17"x34" should be somewhere between 5 and 10$ to still make profit on it :D

I'd be losing money if I sold for them 10 each. Come on really how much are the pad kits out there $40-$90. Going to start these off at $25 a piece. If your doing a skim you could just get the kicktail part and get away with out having to buy a full back traction pad.
